The Public Space project proposes a layered approach to address and expand on both the daily needs of local users and the auspicious expectations of the wider public. In this context, the project approaches the site via a strategy of intervention in three layers: the ‘ground’, the ‘just-above-ground’ and the ‘up-in-the-air’. The striation on the ground level establishes a common ground, while sinuous physical equipment invites occupation and use that engage the adjacent farmers' market programming. The luminous zeppelin marks the site at an urban scale.
